We are already back in September, when we start with our batteries well recharged, although a bit sad after the bittersweet month of August, due to the forest fires that have burnt many of our natural sites and our forests. The woods are our third lung, our ecosystem and a learning tool and source of inspiration for many of our artists, who observe their pods, leaves, branches, etc. in nature.
The artist Arnau Amat told us his forests are often like people, because just like human beings, they have their own character. There are protective forests, threatening ones, swindlers, talkative ones... There are even those one day decide to go for a walk. Never did a place populated by trees and bushes have so much personality. At least that's what he believes and that's what artists from all over the world profess. He tells us that a forest, as well as having temperament and style, always gives a lot of scope for deep metaphors, until its great enemy arrives... Fire.
Fire is the natural element that our ecosystem needs for the regeneration of jungles, forests and mountains, as it provides re-sprouting and germination strategies after its passage. However, this past August, it has gone from being a natural disturbance that shapes the landscape, to become a terrible threat.
From Artsana Fine Art, we will gather all that the fire leaves behind and we will sow the earth with seeds of skill, art, hope and love.
