As it could not be otherwise, this October, our blog is dedicated to the Queen of England, Elizabeth II, who left us on 8 September aged 96 and on September 19th her country said their last farewell to the woman who was their Queen for 70 years.
The figure of Elizabeth II has left an indelible impression on the whole world, especially in her country, and within her family, who describe her as a solitary woman who lived in a world dominated by men. We can imagine how difficult it was for her, as there had never been any female Prime Ministers or Presidents before. She was unique, and because she was the only one, she forged her own role.
We will always remember with admiration this great sovereign, passionate about horse racing and that affable face with extraordinary blue eyes and a smile that we will never forget.
